Dami is not drawn to what is rational or efficient.

She is drawn to what is simply, quietly, beautiful.

Dami is a Korean artist whose practice centers on clay, organic forms, and quiet symbolism. She studied sculpture and fine arts in Korea, later trained in fashion design in New York, and founded a floral design studio in NYC.

Having lived in cities including Seoul, Singapore, Doha, Seattle, London, and now Abu Dhabi, her work reflects a layered dialogue between disciplines, places, and ways of seeing.

The desert and sea of Abu Dhabi, along with Islamic notions of time and the moon, quietly permeate her forms. From this distance, her sense of Korean identity has also taken on a new intimacy, not as something fixed, but as something felt.

her process is slow and intuitive, guided more by emotional texture than formal logic.

Whether building with clay or arranging flowers, she listens to what emerges in the space between the hand and the object. Influenced by the rhythm of nature, post-impressionist sensitivity, and East Asian aesthetics, her work favors atmosphere over message, residue over clarity.
